General Information
LOCATION
Doubletree Hotel Chicago – Oak Brook is the sight for the CPPC 2010 Spring Workshop. This location remains in the Western Suburbs of Chicago where the CPPC Spring Workshops have been held for many years. It is a different property, than has been used in the past, but it should fit our needs nicely. The hotel is located just across the street and easily within walking distance of the Oak Brook Mall and the numerous restaurants located in that complex. This hotel does provide shuttle service within 5 miles of the property, but does not offer an airport shuttle. Check future hotel information under separate title within this publication.
HIGHLIGHTS
This year, we have again teamed with AMSA in offering two of their current education classes in conjunction with our scheduled event. On Thursday April 29th, AMSA will offer their Claims 101 and Military Training courses. These classes are separate from the Workshop itself, but you can register through your Workshop Registration form found at the back of this publication. Combining one of these classes with your Workshop trip can be a great opportunity. Further details on these courses can be found under separate title within this publication. Our goal for this year’s workshop is to continue to provide education to all our members, while still allowing them sufficient time to meet or re-acquaint themselves with other members. We will be continuing our very popular member’s Repair Technique Demonstrations segment within the schedule of events. We have the best repair technicians in the industry, amongst our membership; so who better to share their knowledge of techniques they have mastered that might assist yet another member. This hotel’s layout does allow us to continue our also popular Exhibit Displays. This will occur at various times throughout both days of our event. We continue to find new ways for our members to learn, network and re-connect; so, we’re confident there is something for everyone at this year’s event.

Note, register soon, the date your registration is received can affect the amount you pay.
Non-registered guests are welcome to attend our Friday Evening Reception for a nominal fee as outlined on the registration form. |

that the CPPC room block expires April 12, 2009.
There are a limited number of rooms within this block, so
register early to ensure a room at this rate. This special
rate can not be guaranteed after this date or once
the room block has been met.
DONORS
Donors help us to insure the success of these events,
while keeping the costs as low as possible for those that
attend. Workshop donors gain valuable exposure through
their names being listed in the monthly CPPC publication
and on the CPPC website, prior to the event. Each donor
is also offered an Ad in the Workshop Program.
Contributions of $50 - $250 are directly tied to the size of
ad provided in the program. Check the registration form
for further details.
EXHIBIT TABLES
Exhibit tables will again be open at designated times,
throughout the entire workshop. Please see the schedule
of events for exhibit times. Set-up will be prior to opening
on Friday morning and take-down will occur at the close of
the event.. A secure room, close to the exhibit area, will be
available to store any items overnight. This is a great
opportunity for members to visit with the membership
while marketing their business. Members come to you.
Exhibitors are permitted to offer a prize by means of a
raffle at their table. The drawings should be held at the
town meeting on Saturday. Cost for exhibiting continues
to be only $100.00 for a 2 X 6 table space. Spaces are
limited, so reserve your table early to insure a spot for
this event.
TRANSPORTATION
All major air carriers serve Chicago through either O’Hare
or Midway. Make your reservations early to get your
best fares. Transportation from the airport to the
property is not provided by the hotel. Private
arrangements will need to be made.
