General Information

LOCATION

The host hotel for the CPPC 2023 Workshop is The Alexander Hotel– Indianapolis, IN and the previous site of our 2015, 2018 & 2022 workshops. All events of the Workshop will take place at the hotel property.  The hotel does offer private meeting space for anyone that wants to arrange a private gathering during the event.  Just check with the CPPC office for appropriate contacts at the hotel.

HIGHLIGHTS

We are on our usual schedule again this year, with the actual workshop starting at noon on Friday and concluding with the closing reception on Saturday evening.  This year we are introducing the CPPC “QCA” (Qualified Claims Analyst) course on Thursday March 31st. This is a stand- alone event but allows you to piggy-back this with the CPPC 2023 Workshop. We are again offering two optional sessions on Friday morning.  We will also offer exhibit space and repair demonstrations within the schedule of events. Further details below.   

CPPC “QCA” Course – is a Certificate based course on Claims 101 procedures.  Learn the basics of Claims Rules and Processing. Complete the course and pass the included testing to earn a Certificate and “QCA” designation.   

OPTIONAL PRE-WORKSHOP SESSIONS:

Repair Only and Military Roundtable sessions. These sessions will take place on Friday morning March 31st from 8AM or 9AM to 11AM. These sessions are offered at no additional charge to our Workshop attendees. The Repair Only session is a chance for our repair members to discuss elements of their work amongst their peers in a private setting. The Military Round Table session is an informal discussion group for any members involved in Military Claims.  Past events have included Military branch representatives working in Military claims.  We will again invite their involvement and will advise any military branch representatives’ attendance when we are informed.  Both of these sessions have proven very worthwhile, based on past participation. 

The hotel’s layout does allow us to continue our popular Exhibit Spaces. However, space is always limited so secure a spot early to guarantee your inclusion.  Exhibit times will be outlined in the schedule of events.  We will include the exhibits open times during the “Demo’s, Drinks & Networking” on Friday afternoon. Don’t miss being highlighted during this event.  We are always looking for members that would like to be a demonstrator. Reach out to the CPPC office or a Workshop chair if interested.

REGISTRATION

Look for the official “Registration Form” in the back of the latest issue of the CPPC Claims Journal or on-line at
our web site: www.claimsnet.org.  We again offer a link on the website that will allow you to register electronically.  Remember to register early, as the date your registration is received can affect the amount you pay to attend the event.

If you use either option of securing a room, don’t forget to identify yourself as part of the Claims Prevention and Procedure Council Inc. or CPPC to obtain our special room rate of $185.00 for run-of-house rooms. The CPPC
room block expires March 6th, 2023
.  There are a limited number of rooms within this block, so register early to ensure a room at this rate and at this property. 

Note: This special rate cannot be guaranteed after the cut-off date or once the room block has been met.  The rate is available for 3 days pre and post based on availability. 

ADVERTISING/SPONSORSHIPS

Advertising/Sponsorships help us to ensure the success of this event by allowing us to keep rates low, so more people can attend. With any level of Advertising/Sponsorship you can gain valuable exposure through your name being listed in the monthly CPPC Claims Journal and on the CPPC website, prior to the event.  We will offer ads in the official Workshop Program in direct correlation to your Advertising level. Contributions of $50 - $250 are directly tied to designated levels, but any and all contributions are appreciated and will be acknowledged.  Added sponsorships are available and further gain you exposure for those special options.  Each sponsorship also comes with a half or full-page ad, event banner and proper acknowledgment throughout the event.  These sponsorship options are limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Check the registration form and advertising materials for further details. Advertising for the event, even if not attending, is a great way to show support for the event and be recognized by other members.
